Conditions of Guarantee
FITTING
This product should only be fitted by a qualified plumber, should the work not be completed by a plumber or completed incorrectly - it could result in failure of the product, damage to the property and invalidation of the product guarantee.
CLEANING
Our products are finished to a very high standard, however specific care is required to maintain the look and finish of your product.
We strongly recommend against using any off the shelf cleaning products any products etc and the use of these could invalidate any guarantee.
We recommend cleaning the product with warm water and a clean cloth and immediately dry afterwards to prevent watermarks.
We also recommend drying down fixtures after each use.
To remove stubborn marks on the product, please use a 50/50 vinegar and water solution to clean, then immediately rinse an dry. Do not allow the solution to sit on the product.
MAINTENANCE
To maintain your product please follow the advice below annually to ensure the look and performance of your product and to ensure the guarantee is not invalidated. (We recommend seeking the help of a professional if required)
- For shower heads and hand showers
Remove the shower head / hand shower product and any O rings.
Rinse the O Rings to remove and limescale and place the shower head / hand shower in a vinegar solution for 1-2 hours and then thoroughly rinse and dry. Make sure to run water through the head prior to use.
Remove any aerators from product and rinse them of any limescale build up.
- For Shower Valves
Isolate the flow of water and remove any cartridges, soak them in a vinegar solution for 1-2 hours and then re- install them.
GUARANTEE VALIDITY
The product has been installed, used and maintained (maintenance guidelines above) in accordance with AVA's instructions and subjected to normal, residential use.

The extended guarantee is only available if you have completed the Guarantee Registration Process. This can be done via the AVA website. Registration must be completed within 6 months of delivery from your retailer.
GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
Labour costs are only within 1 year after delivery and in exceptional cases.
Any parts replaced under guarantee assume the role of the replaced part and their guarantee period. The guarantee period does not restart
AVA reserves the right to repair, replace or refund the product and it is solely our decision which of the 3 options we take. The only time the en user has a choice is if the same issue occurs twice in the first year after delivery to site.
AVA may arrange a site visit to assess the fault, at the consumers cost. If it is found to be faulty, this fee will immediately be refunded. This is organised through your chosen retail partner.
